How To: Use SSL (HTTPS) enabled repositories in Ambari

When performing cluster configuration within Ambari using the Cluster Install Wizard, you have the option to configure your repository locations in a section titled "Select Stack".

Once you have selected your stack (e.g. HDP 2.3), you will see a sub-section below titled "Advanced Repository Options" where you will enter your repository URLs. By default, Ambari is unable to validate URLs beginning with "https:", however you can bypass this check by selecting "Skip Repository Base URL Validation".
